| THE DVD OF "KARO" IS RELEASED |

Finally the time has come: from 10th December "Karo" is available on DVD. In addition to an audio commentary for the visually impaired and subtitles for the hard of hearing, the DVD also contains the trailer, a teaser, a making-of section and several scenes which were not included in the film.

"Karo" has been awarded two prizes at the Canadian Children's Film Festival in Rimouski: the prize for Best Screenplay, the "Camério", and the highly sought-after CIFEJ Prize. This award came into existence in 1955 under the auspices of UNESCO and UNICEF and is presented to films which respect the dignity and rights of children throughout the world. |

The world premiere of "Karo" was held on Sunday 16th July at 11 o'clock at the Munich
Children's Film Festival.
Andres, 7 years old:
"There wasn't anything I didn't like. I liked everything a lot. Especially the part where God
was using that thing (a walkie-talkie) and talked so funny. The bit where God and
Karo jumped on the truck was good too."
Anna, 8 years old:
"Very funny, especially when Karo and her friend were saying that they had been
Kite-flying. Lots of funny words like "shit in the forest". I really liked the film.
I hope it'll be in the cinema!!!"
Shannan, 12 years old:
"I found the film very moving. The actors were really good at their parts. I just thought
it was touching the way Karo latched on to God in the hope of getting her family back
together again. And the end of the film was really special because it wasn't a happy end." |

"Villa Henriette" is among the selected films invited to this year's GIFFONI-HOLLYWOOD Film Festival. Following the success of the first edition of GIFFONI-HOLLYWOOD last year in the very mecca of cinema, Hollywood, the second edition which will be held from April 26 to April 30. After 36 years in the business of cinema for young people and wordly recognised for its great accomplishments in the sector, Giffoni Film Festival is spreading its formula around the world with events being held in the likes of Albania, Poland, Australia and, from this year on, in China. |

At the 17th Bielefeld Children‘s Film Festival “Villa Henriette“ was awarded the Best Film prize by the children‘s jury.
According to the 6 boys and girls on the jury in Bielefeld: "“Villa Henriette“ is a film with an amusing and unpredictable plot. The acting is very good, and the actors really seem to empathize with their parts. They act as though they have been in the situations themselves. The sets also struck us as very good. We particularly liked the ending, which fitted well to the story while being surprising at the same time." |

After participating in numerous festivals, “Villa Henriette“ has been released in 6 European countries so far (Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, Norway, Iceland and Lithuania), with the assistance of the international distributor Sola Media, and the film has also received a distribution subsidy from MEDIA. |
